STEMx Interview with Dr. Khan M. B. Asad, Assistant Professor in Astronomy and Astrophysics at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), spoke with STEMcIUB about the Durbin project- a joint collaboration with the University of Toronto, saw two Unistellar eVscope eQuinox Telescopes for deep sky imaging brought to IUB. The project is inspired by Dr. Lamiya Mowla, who is a postdoctoral research fellow at Dunlap Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics, University of Toronto, a result of DUNLAP Institute's grant for global outreach through her Doctorate Program.
Women in STEM | Dr. Munima Haque
Dr. Munima Haque is currently serving as Life Sciences Executive Committee (EC) member Biotechnology Program Director & Associate Professor, Dept. of Mathematics and Natural Sciences School of Data and Sciences (SDS), BRAC University, Bangladesh. Her research work includes biomedical engineering (nanotechnology), and Biological Engineering (nanoscale characterization of corn protein). She is life member of Bangladesh Medical Physics Society and Bangladesh Physical Society, members of SARI radiation and GNOBB.

Women In STEM: Heroes Among Us | Dr. Zeba Islam Seraj
Dr. Zeba Islam Seraj received her Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Glasgow. She joined the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Dhaka in 1988 as a faculty. Since 1991, Seraj has been the Principal Investigator for several plant biotechnology projects funded by local and foreign grants. In addition, she has served as a Visiting Researcher at UT Austin since 2013.

Dr. Arshad Momen is an acclaimed Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Independent University, Bangladesh. During the discussion, he shared his insights and expertise on the advancements and impacts of quantum science in various multidisciplinary fields, from the basics to the cutting edge.
Women in STEM | Yumna Majeed
Yumna Majeed is a medical lab technologist, space educator and aspiring astronaut from Pakistan who founded Exploration by Yumna, a space education-based social enterprise. She is also an ambassador for the Space Generation Advisory Council and the IAU Office for Astronomy Outreach.

Alejandra Sierra Aguilera is a researcher at ICVV Logroño, Spain and Co-owner at Rana Parda, 100 Leaders of Latinoamerica 2021. She is also the Former President of National Biotech Commission, Guatemala. Her professional goal, is to democratize science and develop bioeconomy in latinoamerican region.
